Congratulations on your pregnancy or new bundle of joy!

The first few weeks with your baby pass by so quickly. A newborn session is a chance to capture all this tiny details before they change.

When should i book?

I recommend booking your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally around your second or third trimester. However there is no right or wrong time so whether you're booking during pregnancy or your baby has already arrived, it's absolutely fine - just get in touch and I'll see what availability I have!

When will my session take place?

Newborn sessions are usually held within the first 2-3 weeks after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl up into the lovely newborn positions.

If your baby is older than this, don't worry. We can still create a beautiful album and I'll always work with your baby rather than putting pressure on a particular age.

How do i book?

Simply get in touch using my enquiry form and let me know your due date.

I'll get back to you with my availability and all the information you need. Once you've chosen your date and paid your booking fee, your newborn session is secured.

Babies don't follow calendars so don't worry, your exact session date can be moved once babies arrive if they are early/late.

What to expect?

Sessions typically last around 2 hours, this assures we have plenty of time for feeding, changes and snuggles so baby is relaxed throughout the session.

There's no need to worry about baby sleeping the whole time. We'll take things at their pace!

Parents and siblings are both welcome and encouraged to be involved in the session/photos so your gallery isn't just photographs of your baby, it's photographs of the new chapter of your family.

I offer lifestyle relaxed newborn photos and posed so the session can be completely tailored to yours and babies preferences.

I also offer in home session which are great for families looking for a more lifestyle and relaxed approach. Especially for Mums that have had c-sections and feel more comfortable being at home.

Prior to your session, I will discuss all of your preferences with you!

It's completely understandable to feel apprehensive about your newborn session, especially if you've never had one before.

You don't need to know what to do, and your baby doesn't need to settle or sleep for the whole session. Babies are unpredictable, and thats completely okay.

I'll guide you through the session and we will take our time. There's no pressure so just bring yourself and your baby - and I'll take care of the rest.

Delivering photos

Following your session there will be a 2-4 week wait whilst I edit your photos and prepare your gallery for viewing. Once I've completed your gallery, I will send you a secure online gallery link where you can view your images and select your favourites based on which package you've chosen. Extra images are available on top of your chosen package for an additional cost. If you would like to after you've received your digital images, you're welcome to order professional prints and wall art.
